VIEW COURSE BREAKDOWN

Our first session was a hit and we both left feeling relaxed, educated and above all, confident! Not bad for two sceptics!

For me, the fact that I felt so different about my body, my baby and my birth after just 3 hours only got me more excited about the other sessions to come!

Once the course had finished I was absolutely buzzing for my birth! Something most people found a bit weird when they asked "how are you feeling about the birth?" and my response was "super excited! I can't wait!".

My little boy Cody made his entry into the world on the 2nd December 2018 (Little Fact: we share the same birthday!) It was the most empowering, emotional and danm right incredible thing I had ever done!

It was shortly after having Cody that I decided I wanted to do something fulfilling with my life and so I trained to be a Hypnobirthing Antenatal Practitioner so I could teach the same thing that changed my life to others.

I believe that every birther deserves the right to be informed, supported and confident throughout their pregnancy and during their birth.

Birth isn't something to fear it is something to celebrate!

HOW HYPNOBIRTHING CHANGED MY LIFE!

Before falling pregnant I must admit I hadn't given much thought to the reality of the birth. I knew I wanted to be a Mama and I knew that I had to give birth, but the realisation set in for me when I was around 2 months pregnant and sh*it did it hit me like a ton of bricks!.

I was sat at home watching One Born Every Minuet (Worst decision ever!) and all that filled my headspace was worry and fear around the birthing process and my changing body. Unfortunately this was a trigger point for me when my pregnancy turned into something I resented for a little while. After many chats with my partner, mum, friends and googling everything possible (as we all do) I found hypnobirthing!

At first I was sceptical, but I'm up for anything that sounds a bit hippie (although it's not hippy dippy at all!) and so I thought we would give it a go! When I told my partner he just looked at me as if I was talking crazy, but he was willing to support me as he knew how much I was struggling.
